Melanie Oliva

Miami artist, Melanie Oliva, advocates for Earth’s inhabitants through “After-image” paintings that link misogyny and speciesism to animal suffering and global warming. Her work has been featured in “The Absent Referent” at TAG Gallery in Los Angeles, collected by HistoryMiami Museum, and awarded an Individual Artist Grant by Miami-Dade County.
